Surf & Friends

Author's Note: Trish and Dez are mentioned in this story but don't expect them to say much cause I wanted to focus on the adorableness and perfection of Austin and Ally. I know this is long but I had a lot of ideas for this story.

Don't own anybody.

Since meeting Austin, Trish and Dez, Ally thanked God each night that she had such supportive, caring, loving friends who were always doing stuff that made her laugh until her tummy hurt and kept her on her toes, ready to do whatever they could to help her and their other friends overcome whatever troubles they had gotten themselves into which usually had hilarious outcomes that Ally, Dez, Trish and Austin all could look back on and reminsence about the good times they had together.

Ally's friends were gifts from heaven, they kept her from becoming the boriest person ever by helping her unleash her "fun" side by trying everything they could to get Ally past the goodie goodie serious person who couldn't stop rambling on and being the hugest dork in the world that she seemed to have been all her life and start getting her comfortable being in her skin and showing the world the best version of herself.

The thing Ally loved most about her bestest friends is that she could be the dorkiest, childish, shy, insecure, stage frightened young lady she knew she was and even though Austin, Dez and Trish might laugh and tease her about being a goodie goodie dork, she knew in her heart of hearts that they loved her for the real Ally Dawson and would never try to change her for anything. And that made Ally's heart melt everytime she thought of the three people who had become like family to her.

Trish was like Ally's older, wise-cracking, stubborn, spunky sister and the person she wished she could be more like, like her not-take-any-arttitude- from-anyone-and-not-let-anyone-tell-her-what-to-do attitude though defiently not her- not- liking- to- do- any- kind- of- work- attitude. Dez was like her goofball, dorky, single minded, childish older brother who she sometimes worried about cause of the times when he would say the most random stuff that no one around him knew how to respond to what he said though he was really talented at technological stuff.

Even with the qualities and personality traits that drove Ally crazy she still loved them and wouldn't change them for anything cause they made life more interesting and funnier. Which brought her to the third member of Team Austin, Austin Moon. Ally could totally tell why Austin and Dez were best friends since kindergarten, they were alike in so many ways but they were different in their interests.

Dez is really really good at anything technical. He can make a simple song or moment in time and put them together into a wonderful music video that has the audience taping their feet as they are entertained. Austin can take a simple melody with lyrics that some people think was childish and stupid and made it into a huge hit that has everyone falls instantly in love with it from the first note.

Austin might try to hide it but he is one of the sweetest, caring, down to earth, warm and gentlest guys Ally knew. Austin could turn her insecurities into more sureness of herself and make her smile when she was feeling really sad about something that had happened in her life or someone being mean to her.

Austin could melt her heart like butter in the microwave with a smile, a kind word about how important she was to him, as a best friend and songwriter. He could also make her heart soar and race like a speeding train with a gentle, soft touch whether it be a snuggly, warm hug that Ally never wanted to end and dreamed about at night as she cuddled into her pillow or even a soft and gentle touch ever touch on her shoulder which no matter what sent sparks of electricity thoughout her body

Sometimes Ally seemed to get the impression that Austin didn't seem to want anyone to see him as being a total sweetheart, a caring, sweet, kind hearted, friend and family oriented young man cause apparently rockstars were suppose to be selfish, jerks who only cared about their looks, how others perceive them and doing whatever they have to do to stay top dog in the music biz.

Austin might have started off being a little vain when he and Ally first met but whether he likes to admit it to the world his personality changed enough to become a guy that any girl would fall head over heels for and do anything they could to get his affection devoted to them. Ally had found herself soon after meeting Austin falling for him just as hard and fast as his "Austies" had but she knew that it wasn't just because of his looks and his immense talent.

Ally was glad that she was the only girl lucky enough to have a chance to really get to know the young man that is Austin Moon, inside and out not just what the public sees on podcasts and concerts. She was glad that she was the girl that was allowed to be included in someone as sweet, kind, caring, liked by everyone he meets cause he draws them in with his friendly, adorabley dorky but hilarious, welcoming personality and talented person like Austin's world as well as being one of his best friend and songwriter.

Today's adventure was a day at the beach with the four best friends. The only time Ally had a reasonable good experience was at the beach was when she walked on the boardwalk eating minty fruit swirl ice cream with her dad when she was 8 years old. She remembered it was Father's Day weekend, it was warm and sunny and her dad had promised her a weekend just him and her after being away for a week at a conference for store managers and Ally had stayed with Trish's family, who are her second family.

Mr Dawson and Ally had spent the day walking through the park, chatting about everything that Mr Dawson missed when he was away though she didn't know how important or interesting a student in Grade life was but her dad had listenned to his daughter intently and even laughed at Trish's antics. As they were walking down the boardwalk, catchy pop music rose above the birds chirping to each other and the sounds of happy, laughing families enjoying their time relaxing and having fun on the beach below.

Ally had begged her dad to take her to the concert and had pulled him as hard as her little arms could down to the boardwalk, She had wanted to hear the band that was making that beautiful music because even at the young age she had acquired an immense interest in music which she seem to have gotten from her mom. From what Ally remembered about her mom, she had a beautiful voice, an ear for wonderful music that reached into your soul and made you think and feel and could think of a catchy, sweet little ditties on the spot.

Ally's dad had tried to get as close to the front of the stage as he could with the crowd pushing to be as close to the stage as they could so he had put Ally onto his shoulders where Ally had stared transfixed at the singers as their lyrics spoke to her and the rythym went straight to her heart.

Mr Dawson had to snap his fingers in front of her face and call her name a couple of times before she responded after the concert. That day was one of the best days of her life cause she got to hang out with her dad alone which was a rarity with his job and the concert just renewed her growing love for music at such a young age.

Ally's other experiences at the beach weren't so wonderful. She had gotten a bad sunburn so that she was peeling for like a week and couldn't wear any shirts with sleeves or wear shorts until her skin had stopped peeling. She had also gotten stung by a jellyfish and that hurt so badly that it felt like she was being slowly being burnt from the inside. Lastly Ally had been hit in the head numerous times with frisbees and balls of every kind sometimes without even an apology from whoever threw it.

Add that to horrible weather, it was usually too hot where you feel like you are melting but when you go into the ocean, it is chock full of people trying to cool off in the heat so you have practically nowhere to swim. Ally had also been to the beach when suddenly the sky gets pitch black and suddenly it pour rains complete with big dangerous lightening bolts so you are trying to gather your stuff up all while trying to stay dry as much as you can and get to the safety of the car.

So from those experiences you can understand why the beach wasn't one of Ally's favourite place in the world. Some of the bathing suits that people wore didn't even count as clothing, more like scraps of material that barely covered the parts of the body that no one should ever see. Plus the beach is usually crowded which means that no one had have any room to move on their blankets or beach chairs so Ally had to spend her time on the beach with her knees scrunched up to her body.

Austin, Dez and Trish hoped that bringing Ally to the beach would brighten Ally's opinion of the beach, like they have tried with other things she disliked like horror movies, talking to people without sounding or acting dorky ( a work in progress but she's getting better at it with every practice) and singing in front of people, so far the only person she could sing in front of was Austin.

Maybe that was because she knew Austin would never judge her or force her to do something she wasn't comfortable doing and if by some small means he did make her feel uncomfortable Austin would do whatever he could to make Ally feel comfortable again even. Austin just got Ally, the real young lady and that was one of the reasons why he was the perfect guy for her.

Austin: "Hey Alls. I already know your answer but I'm going to ask you anyway. Trish, Dez and I were thinking since today is warm and sunny, we would go to the beach. I know you don't like the beach and am not afraid to adorabley ramble on about the reasons why you dislike the beach so much.

Just to warn you, I'm not above picking you up and carrying you to the car kicking and screaming." he had said with his adorable lopsided smile that always made Ally's temperature rise until her checks went all rosey and her heart do this really weird flutter in her chest so matter how many times Austin smiled at her.

Ally pretended to hem and haw as whether she was going to give Austin a hard time in getting her to go along with him, Trish and Dez to the beach. It wasn't a hard descion cause even though Ally disliked the beach she was always looking for things to do with her three best friends. So no way would she pass up this opportunity to spend the day with them even if she spent the day reading on her beach towel as Austin, Dez and Trish enjoyed the surf and sand.

Dez's mom drove them to the beach, she was like her son aka random, hilarious, warm and inviting, which was a good thing cause the trunk was chock full of stuff like beach chairs, beach umbrellas, a pinic basket and of course the boys' beach toys.

They got a good spot on the beach, by the lifeguard tower which was good for the afternoon when the sun really comes out to play. The blankets and the beach chairs cooperated for Austin,Trish and Dez but not for Ally. Ally got wacked in the face by the blanket getting caught in the wind off the water and not wanting to lay down for her at leadt twice before she quit and decided to just go for the beach chairs.

The beach chairs were no better, no matter how much Ally tugged and pulled at it, it wouldn't open. She fell backwards when she tugged so hard that she fell out of balance and made everyone in their vicinity look at her with laughter in their eyes bursting to come out with the next dorky thing she did which happened when she put her foot into the chair still trying to open it and her foot got stuck and no matter how many times she struggled, her foot wouldn't come out.

Thank goodness Austin came to Ally's defense and helped her not only pull her foot out but also openned her chair for her with no laughter, well his eyes danced with amusement, laughter and "Only Ally can get into this much trouble" look but at least he didn't laugh at her directly.

Cause if Austin ever did laugh at Ally, her heart would crack a little with each ring of laughter. His opinion meant a great deal to her and if he thought she was the biggest dork or loser, then she defiently was a dork and a loser. Though Austin did know how it felt to be considered a dork, an outsider to the public and being laughed at pretty much anything he said and did that wasn't "normal" to them before he had gotten famous.

Though to be fair Austin would be considered a cool dork, no matter how childish or dorky Austin might seem at times, people didn't laugh at him rudely or to put him down, they laugh at him cause what he says and did was considered hilarious. But if Ally did what he did, she would get teased and bullied like mad by other people cause apparently she's not "cool" enough to pull it off.

Chole, the meaniest girl in our school and her mindless followers came by. "Hey Austin. You look hot today. And since I'm looking incredibly hot, like always, today I think you should ditch these losers and we can should hang out and "get to know" each other more." Chole said as she fluttered those totally fake eyeleashes, spoke in a syrupy sweet voice that anyone could tell was fake, turned down her nose at Trish, Dez and Ally like we were bugs and twirled her badly dyed blonde hair around her finger.

" Um Thanks. No thanks. I would rather spend the day with my best friends who aren't by any means losers and I don't appreciate you or anybody calling them that. I don't want to hang out with anyone who calls or treats my friends anything but nice and compliementary. So please leave me alone now so I can enjoy my day with my best friends." Austin said with as much niceness as he could without losing his temper, he hates when anyone messes with the people he loves.

Austin Moon doesn't get mad very often, only when the people he loves is involved, and he is more of a lover then a fighter. Ally had never seen Austin beat up or swear at anyone in the last year she'd known him. He is too sweet, caring and sensitive to hurt anyone, he is a puppy dog and he uses those big brown eyes and that adorable puppy pout that could melt anyone's resolve and make them putty in his hands, Ally was one of those people who fell for that look all the time to her dismay.

Chole just rolled her eyes, said "Whatever. Have fun with these losers. Don't cry to me when you have a boring, dull day doing dumb stuff" then stalked away with her followers trailing behind her. Austin, Trish, Dez and Ally were all thinking: Oh sure like hanging out with you would be so much fun. Watching your followers wait on you hand and foot, painting your nails, doing your hair while you read fashion magazines and gossip about our classmates and the other beachgoers.

"See this is why I hate beaches; people judge others by how limited the amount of clothing they are wearing and how bronze their skin is. Or we have people like Chole and her clones who will do and say anything to bring someone else down to the point where they feel like they are children again being overlooked and bullied by the older children.

They have nothing better to do with their lives but make others feel bad about themselves. How dumb is that to have as a life's goal? What kind of life's goal is that!" Ally said with hands flying like mad trying to unleash the tension that Chole's interaction brought.to the group and making Austin, Dez and Trish smile and try to hold in their laughter at her being her usual talkative self.

Austin stopped Ally's rant by gently but firmly grasping both of her hands forcing her to look him in those light brown eyes, well technically it wasn't much of stress for her to look Austin in his eyes cause it made Ally get the good kind of chills and feel a small fluttering in her stomach but she once again brushed it off cause there was no way Austin would feel the same way about her.

"Ally, you shouldn't let those posers ruin what is promising to be a fun filled day with my best friends having a ball in the sun and surf. Someone as amazing and special as you shouldn't listen to any words Chole or her "friends" say about you cause it's all lies. If Chole or her group ever say or do anything to harm or upset you, just tell me, Trish or Dez and will handle it cause you're our best friend and no one disses or hurts someone we love and care about.

As for people judging you, silently or out loud, who cars? Ally, the only people's opinions that should matter to you is your dad and your bestest friends who may tease you about your adorable yet funny little quirks though everyone has their little quirks but you know that I love you just the way you are (pauses) I mean Trish, Dez and I love you just the way you are"

After saying the last line, Austin blushed as his words registered in his mind as not being something best friends would say to another friend without embarassing each other. He prayed that Ally hadn't heard the slip up or this day of fun would turn into a day where Austin and Ally couldn't be side by side, the best place for them to be, without being uncomfortable around the other and that doesn't equal fun for anybody involved.

Ally was so touched that Austin admitted something so sweet, she always knew her friends loved her just the way she is but it is always nice to hear it straight from the lips of her friends, three of the most important people in her life. She practically threw herself onto Austin in a huge hug that knocked him down onto the blanket and knocked the wind out of Austin for a brief moment, not that he really minded, he was just enjoying having Ally in his arms even if it was only a small time.

After a few moments of Austin and Ally laying on the blanket, bodies pressed into each other soaking up each other's scent, until Ally realizes what a compromising position she and Austin were in so she quickly sat up on her knees and looked around uncertain as to what Trish and Dez would think. They seemed to be smiling and trying not to catch Austin or Ally's gaze,it was like they were giving them privacy but why would they do that? It wasn't as if Austin and her were a couple.

"I'm sorry Austin. I didn't mean to knock you over or embarass you. But a girl can't hear such sweet, caring and sensitive things being said about her from one of the most important men in her life and not expect a huge hug in return. I might gripe about your childish and fun-loving ways but deep down I love you too (pauses complete with a slight blush on her cheeks).

I mean Trish, Dez and I love you too. You know as best friends and such. You, Mr Moon, are wiser then people might perceive; now that I think of it you are right. Why should I care what those jerks say about me; as long as I have my family and best friends behind me, I'm good to go. Thanks for the pep talk Austin I needed that." Ally said as she tried not to look at Austin too much so no one could accuse her of staring at him too much but wanting to share some of the feelings that were coursing inside her.

"No problem Alls. You should know by now that I will pretty much do anything I can to make my friends, you included, happy and feel the love. Now to enjoy the rays of the glorious sunshine. What do you guys wanna do first? Lay back and catch some rays? Go for a long luxurious swim in the ocean? Or channel our inner child and build sandcastles and ditches? So many fun choices so little time." Austin exlaimed gleefully as he rubbed his hand together, thinking of the fun filled day he was going to have with his best friends.

"Hmm let me see; play in the sand that gets in every crevice of our bodies, where crabs live and aren't afraid to bite us for a snack. Or lay on a stubborn beach chair that is a pain to open just for me and no one else and risk skin cancer unless I smother myself with sunscreen. The last idea sounds cool unless you want to go home with a little friend, like with Dez and the starfish, or biten by a shark. They all sound fun, not" Ally said with all the enthuisam of someone who dislikes the beach so much complete with a fake thumbs up.

"Ok Miss Alli-gator, I am going to put this go-straight-to-the-worst-possible-secenerios to rest. Sometimes I think you have an overactive imagination Miss Ally, it must be a side effect of all that reading. I knew that reading was bad for a person and this proves it. (he smiles sweetly at Ally to let her know that he was just teasing her).

Anyway I guess it is time for me, Austin Moon, Mr Fun-It-Up, to use my fun-ness to put that sunshine smile back on your face and make your experience at the beach be a positive one surrounded by loving friends who are going to make you laugh til your sides hurt, smile til your face cracks, which hopefully doesn't actually happen cause that would hurt, and do everything in our power to make sure we have a blast today." Austin said as he scooted over to her on the blanket and looked at her with a slight tilted head so he could look into Ally's eyes.

"That is nice of you Austin to put so much effort into making my beach experience a fun one. You don't have to spend this gorgeous sunny day "baby-sitting" me, I am content in sitting here reading this book that I have been dying to read for some time now and watch Dez, Trish and you frolick like the big, lovable, adorable children you are and wishing I had the nerve to unleash my inner child, cause yes Austin I do have one, and join in the fun."Ally said as she put a hand on Austin's arm as she smiled sweetly at Austin's supportive words and then turned to take her book from her satchel.

"Um let me think about that plan for a moment? Hmm let you be alone on this blanket while Dez, Trish and me enjoy this sandy, fun filled paradise. Hmm I don't think so." Austin said as he pretended to think over Ally's proposal then he suddenly lunged for Ally, hooking an arm around her waist and scooping up to hang her upside down over his shoulder.

" I have a new plan and by the end of the day I think you will agree my brillant plan is a little better then yours, more fun filled for everyone involved and will make the day go quicker. A certain brunette is going for a dip in the ocean with her own surfer dude, best freckled friend and Ms Sassypants whether she likes it or not. So be prepared to be either thrown in or carried in but either way you will be soaked in a matter of minutes to kick-off our day of fun." Austin said as he ran down the beach carrying Ally who was lightly punching his back, kicking her feet and yelling at him.

"Austin, put me down right now. I'm not in the mood to go swimming. I mean didn't you hear me I am not going in the water even though it is sweet that you are going to this much trouble to make me have fun.. Come on put me down, I don't exactly have the best view in the house and blood is officially rushing to my head. So please for the love of God, turn me around and take me back to the blanket" Ally shrieked as she lightly pounded on Austin's back, not really noticing how people were staring at the pair with mild amusement at the antics of the couple and commenting how adorable young love was.

Austin's back started to get brusied by Ally's pounding so he gently but quickly turned her around so she was now being carried bridal style so Austin could talk face to face with Ally. Ally's face was a bit flushed, maybe cause she had been kind of staring at Austin's tushy for the past few minutes and the blood had been going to her head since she had been upside down so there was no where for the blood to go but down.

"Ally, I did hear you when you said you didn't want to go swimming but I don't believe you. I mean who wouldn't want to go swimming on a super hot day with the sun blazing down on us. Plus Trish, Dez and I will be spending most of the day in the water and we would hate to leave one of our bestest buddies out of the immense fun. Not on my watch, I'm not letting that happen to you.

So Ms Dawson, you have approximately 5 minutes to get down to your bathing suit cause if not you are going into the water fully clothed. I'm not afraid to drop you into the water with your clothes on. Like this." Austin pretended to drop Ally many times in the ocean only to catch her in the split second she was going to hit the water with Ally shrieks of "don't you dare drop me Austin" echoing in his ears.

"Ok fine, put me down right now so I can get into my bathing suit and kick your butt badly for even suggesting that you should dunk me into the ocean without my permission, you naughty boy. Oh you are going to get it bad boy. I may look sweet and innocent but I can be devious as you, Trish and Dez." Ally said with a pretend angry look, she wasn't really angry, she was just playing.

Austin just smiled and didn't take Ally's teasing tone to heart, he actually liked it when Ally was little Ms I-Try-To-Have-An-Attitude-But-It-Isn't-Working cause Ally didn't have a devious bone in her body, she tried to be scary and inmidating but with those big puppy dog eyes and angelic face she couldn't pull it off. But to spare her feelings he pretended to be scared.

"Ohh I am so scared, Miss Ally is going to kick my butt cause I want to help her release her inner child that is begging and banging to be let out. Whatever will I do? Ok Missy, I will let you down so you can take off your cover-up but don't think I won't pick you up again and dunk you into the water if you back out on our deal."

Ally just playfully rolled her eyes, twirled her finger to signal Austin to turn around while she changed which Austin did with a roll of his eyes at the fact that he had to turn around when Ally was wearing her swimsuit underneath her clothes but he did anyway cause he knew if he didn't Ally would never get changed and be ready to go swimming.

When Ally was bathed in her lilac spaghetti strapped tankini with boyshorts, she turned towards Austin hesitantly not sure what the next step was only to find Austin smiling sweetly at her and holding out his hand. Without hesitation Ally took it only to be taken along by a high paced run into the lake when Austin took off in a run and jumped into the ocean still holding tightly to Ally's hand.

The water gave quite a shock to both Ally and Austin cause it was cold but it was refreshing chilly on the hot summer day. Ally popped up from the water with a musical laugh that rang in the air as she felt her spirit fly a little more just by jumping into the ocean but when she looked around to see if Austin's spirits were lifted as hers were by jumping in the water but she didn't see Austin.

"Austin? Austin, where are you?. This isn't funny. Show yourself right now!" called Ally as she treaded water, dove under the water and tried to see through the murky water to see if she could find her best friend and when she surfaced she continued to call his name. She was getting really freaked out when she felt something tickle her leg that moved up to her sides.

Ally felt herself being lifted high from behind and then a familiar voice rang out in a corny, southern accent. "Well looky here, I caught myself a pretty little mermaid. How lucky am I? I went for a swim and found myself a treasure. I sure hope she and I can hang out this afternoon frolicking in the water."

Ally was turned around to find a grinning Austin Moon still holding on pretty tight onto her waist, very much alive but not for long if she had her way. "Austin Monica Moon, you scared me. I thought you drowned, I was worried sick. I was about to call the lifeguard over to do a search of the waters. Don't ever do that again or your butt is mine."Ally said in an "You are so dead" voice complete with angry eyes.

"Sorry Ally, I didn't mean to scare you. I was just goofing around like the way I do and possibly start a water fight. I had no intention of hurting you in anyway." Austin said with a totally serious sorry face, he hadn't meant to make Ally worry so much about him

Ally's heart melted like chocolate in the summer's sun when she looked into Austin's eyes and saw that he was truly sorry for scaring her so of course she said: "Ok I forgive you Austin but please don't scare me like that again. To prove my point, this is what will happen when you scare me again." Ally quickly and throughly splashed Austin shocking him enough to let go of her waist to block the attack of water on him.

When Austin had recovered enough from the water attack, the war was on. Ally and Austin threw themselves fully into the war using both hands and their feet to splash the other so that the sound of their laughter as well as the splashing of the water ran out but Austin and Ally were having too much fun to care.

Austin took the game to the next level by grabbing Ally, picking her up then dunking both of them in the ocean by falling backwards. Ally struggled to get out of Austin's arms, though to be honest Austin's arms were one of her favourite places to be, she always felt so warm, snuggly and safe there. When she got free, she jumped onto Austin's back and started to tickle him and no matter how much he twisted to tickle her back, he couldn't losen her, though to be honest he wasn't trying very hard.

Austin decided that Ally won the water and tickle fight so as a reward he piggybacked Ally back onto the beach, bouncing her a little with soft horse noises in order to make her smile and laugh which seemed to be a daily activity for him. They found Trish and Dez arguing over which lunch meat is better on the blanket all while shovelling the food into their mouths.

"Well lookie who decided to join us for lunch; the lovebirds who were having an adorable, playful water and tickle fight that made the humble onlookers have to shield their eyes from all the cutsey, love-dovey, adorable moments you guys were having. Glad you not so subtle sweeties could join us." Trish teasingly said as Austin and Ally blushed like mad,, avoided any eye contact as they sat down.

Though to be honest Austin and Ally should be used to Trish and Dez's not so subtle hints that they both had more then best friend feelings for each other no matter how much Austin and Ally deny it and that they should gather up all their nerve and confess their love so they can date already.

During lunch, Ally's plate always seemed to be missing pieces of food cause a certain rockstar kept stealing food from her plate though he made it equal by putting some of his food on her plate especially the yum yum pickles cause he didn't want Ally to get mad at him for taking her food. She didn't mind Austin stealing some of her food cause Austin reminded her of an adorable little michivious boy taking a cookie before dinner with his adorable facial expressions as the food was taken off her plate so she pretended she didn't notice what he was doing.

After lunch, it was time for some scuplturing aka building sandcastles. It took Trish, Austin, Ally and Dez about an hour to build a reasonable sized sandcastle with three towers, a moat around the castle and decorated with seashalls. But it was worth it in the end, when Trish, Dez, Austin and Ally stepped back and examined their creation.

Then it was time for a game of frisbee which ended up being a game of "who can throw the frisbee farther so that your target has to run for it". This game wasn't as competitive as people think, Austin, Ally, Trish and Dez were laughing and good naturally groaning and making a fuss at having to run after the firsbee time after time but there was no bite in their words or actions.

No one could miss the fact that Austin and Ally were going easy on each other, meaning they weren't throwing as hard or as strong to each other as they were with Trish and Dez. The frisbee would land close to the person so they didn't have to run far which would result in Austin and Ally flashing a smile to the other person as a way of thanks. Whenever a smile was given to them, their hearts would melt a little each time then speed up.

When Trish, Austin, Ally and Dez got tired, they decided to go back to the blanket and take a breather from all the excerise they had been getting from swimming and running around. Trish collapsed in her beach chair and stretched out to tan while she and her friends talked with her feet on Dez's back as he was lying down on his stomach on the blanket.

Austin was laying with his head propped up on a bunch of towels and Ally was lying beside him with her head propped nicely on his stomach so that everytime she moved, Austin could feel in the pit of his stomach a heat wave that had nothing to do with the sun beaming down on them and a breeze of floral off her hair that he absorbed in his mind to pull out when snuggling with Dougie at night.

The time passed quickly as the four friends talked about everything under the sun from the newest "Team Austin" stuff, to their worst and best subjects at school, how much fun today was and many more topics that the friends were the only ones who had inside jokes and information about and others might find boring and random.

Soon it was time to pack up and go home, Austin willingly helped Ally pack up her stuff and even followed her around like a puppy looking for what little stuff he could pick up for her to help her out. When everything was packed, they called Mr Dawson who drove them home as Trish, Dez, Austin and Ally silently reminscing about their wonderful day at the beach before they fell asleep in a pile of sleepyheads, going Dez on the bottom, Trish laying on him hunched over, Ally using her back as a pillow and Austin using her head as a pillow.

I Love My Best Friend

This is a request from one of my best friends and fellow Auslly fan Iwantlunch so I first want to thank her for suggesting this story idea. I also want to thank my friend @luvmaya92 on Twitter for reading my story and letting me know if it's good enough to post.

I don't own anybody so don't sue. Please leave me a nice, cheery review and enjoy the story.

Dear Journal

This is definetly a day to remember then again anytime I get to spend with Ally Dawson, my best friend, my songwriter and the young woman I have been falling for is a day to remember. I might have only known Ally for 3 months but I feel that I have known her longer. Each day is an opportunity to learn as much as I can about the girl who is becoming one of the most important people in my life.

I already know that she loves pickles, they were like Ally's favourite-could-eat-everyday- kind-of-food like mine was pancakes, that she has immense stage fright, I don't know why yet but hopefully someday soon I will be told. That way I can work towards helping her overcome the fear so that the world can finally know the awesomeness that is Ally Dawson.

I know Ally's mom isn't in the picture, sometimes Ally's big brown eyes that remind me of a puppy dogs, get all sad, troubled and beg for me to hug her and tell her that everything will be ok in situations that must remind her of her mom.

I always want to be there to protect her and do everything in my power to make the light of happiness come back to her ivory face. I wonder if Mrs Dawson passed away or Ally's parents are divorced and her mom isn't in her life for some dumb reason, who wouldn't want to be in this angel's life?

Lastly i know that, like my dad, Ally was told by her dad that there was one in a bazillian chance of her making anything of her catchy, written from the heart, well thought of, beautiful songs that she sings with a voice that rivals angels. I could listen to Ally sing for hours at a time and never get bored of her voice. I wish that one day Ally would tape her singing on a CD that I can steal, take home and then listen to it from the time I wake up to the time I fall asleep.

The day started off innocently enough, Dez and I were busy being our usual, slightly childish, and slightly annoying selves, I don't mean to be childish or annoying to Ally but I wanted to do anything I could to show Ally the real me and hopefully make her laugh. I do love her but I wish she was more easy going, laughed and smiled more.

Her gorgeous laugh and million watt smile makes my heart fly and I get this stupid smile on my face and an urge to do whatever I can to make Ally smile and laugh once again. I want to show her that the world doesn't have to be serious and boring all the time, there is joy, laughter and fun times to be had and I want to experience all life's joy and happiness alongside Ally.

Trish looked hilarious in her cheese uniform, I mean she was dressed in a big block of cheese with a smaller piece of cheese on her head. Who wouldn't laugh at Trish's outfit, well not out loud of course unless you are anxious to get your butt kicked and believe me no one wants to be butt kicked by Trish.

Oh my sneaky girl has been writing a new song without me to play at my next podcast. Man I love writing songs with Ally, sitting close to her, breathing in the same air as her as well as her heavenly berry scent, bouncing ideas off each other as the number of paper with rejected song lyrics grow on the floor and spending the whole night just the two of us, all alone in our practice room.

Ally says that the song she is about to let me listen to on her MP3 player perfectly captures everything I'm about. I think someone has been taking detailed notes about me, I guess I'm not the only one who observes every and each single detail and moment that makes up someone I really care about. I hope I made a good impression on my Ally and inspire another wonderful song.

Ok so the melody is catchy and the lyrics are once again well written, I can feel the emotion and thoughts that went through Ally's head as she wrote this song. But sweetie, I have to admit that I'm not a serious and sensitive guy, I mean what guy cries at a sunset or at romantic movies that girls seem to go gaga and blubber over? I know I don't cause if I did, Aaron and Andrew would eat me alive with their teasing.

I guess since Ally wrote a song about me being a guy who is serious, sensitive and sweet, she doesn't really know me like I thought. No biggie, that just gives us an excuse to hang out more, just the two of us, for as long as it takes for us to really get to know the other person. Hopefully before the podcast so that I can sing a song that I can feel in my heart as the truth.

Also from the song, I can tell that Ally is looking for a sweet, sensitive and serious young man to be in her life as her boyfriend. I'm not going to totally change my whole personality cause that would mean that what I feel for Ally isn't true love cause true love doesn't make you change your whole personality to work out.

I know that I sometimes drive Ally crazy with my uniqueness but I also know that she would never ask me to change myself for her own interest; one of the reasons why I fell in love with her. Ally loves me for the real me but that doesn't mean I won't try to show Ally that I can be sensitive, caring, sweet and serious when I need to be and really tell and show her how much her being in my life has made my life that so much better then I ever thought possible.

Mom and Dad have been giving my brothers and me "man"advice since we were kids; to be a true and all rounded man we have to be a balance of sweet, sensitive and big and tough. Now is a time to show the woman of my dreams another side of me, the side that will hopefully win her heart and love in the end. I'm like an onion, I have many layers that peel back to reveal the me that sometimes I even hide from Dez and my family.

I didn't want to hurt Ally's feelings, having the girl of your dreams mad at you isn't a good way to get her to fall in love with you, but I had to be honest, I knew girls like honestly and I want Ally to think I'm trustworthy but I didn't want to hurt her feelings. Ally sad isn't something I look forward to seeing especially when I'm the cause of her sadness.

I ended up telling Ally the truth after I stuttered out that I had to tell her something and ended up giving her a pickle basket, thanks to Dez, which she happily and adorably munched on. I mentally face slapped myself, how dumb could I be? I mean I not only stuttered and acted like an idiot in front of the girl I love instead of being the calm and collective guy I'm known for but gave her a lame basket, how dumb is that and how does that impress Ally?

It got worse when I danced\stalled during the podcasat, I really didn't want to sing Ally's song cause my heart wouldn't be all in it which wouldn't do the song justice which in turn will embarass Ally in front of how many viewers happened to be watching and that is a no no. It turns out that I wasn't the only one who danced\stalled when trying not to hurt Ally's feelings by not telling the truth, Dez and Trish did it too.

I know I did end up telling Ally the truth though it was hard I think Ally appreciated the honesty which is a good quality for a dream guy to have. But it turned out ok, I mean Ally wasn't mad at me for long and agreed to spend some alone time with me to get to know me more so we can write a song that respresents more of the real me. I was elated that I got to spend some quality time with the woman of my dreams.

I love Ally but man does that girl need my help in relaxing and learning the art of having fun. I mean her stance that was suppose to look "cool" was too adorable and funny to be considered cool. It seems that whatever Ally does, I think it is the most adorable thing ever seen, it could be the dorkiest thing on the planet and with anyone else I would have laughed at them, maybe not so friendly.

But with Ally, I will find it the most adorable and sweetest thing ever. I guess that is what being in love feels like. You can be yourself 100% of the time cause you know that the person you love won't make fun of you will laugh with you, accept you for who you are , won't try to change you and most importantly loves you for you, no matter what.

The first activity was cloudwatching with Ally's cloudwatching club, who knew that there was a club for something as silly and kind of boring as watching clouds. I mean all you do is stand around and watch clouds float lazily by and try to find shapes in the clouds. I tried to find at least one shape in the clouds after being caught red handed at watching the clock with a bored look on my face.

Who on this Earth would find watching clouds all afternoon fun? I mean I love Ally and I really want to spend as much alone time with her as I can get to know more about the young lady I've fallen for. But I've never been so bored in my life and I've had to spend the afternnon with my grandmother and her friends girl-talk around me. All i wanted to do is take Ally away to an event where it's just the two of us and we are actually having fun.

I got my chance when Ally admitted that I had paid my dues to her kind of activity and we could finally go on to one of my activities . I already know which one I will take my sweetie to and hopefully Ally will enjoy it. I'm taking my Ally to "Fright Night". I knew that is very stereotypical of me; every guy has thought about taking a really cute girl who he's interested in to a horror movie so the guy can comfort his petrified girl cause she's cowering into him.

I knew that it is pathetic for me to go the usual and male route of taking Ally to a horror movie in hopes that she would get so scared that she will cower into my arms, asking for comfort. Bit it means I can hold her tightly in my arms, whisper in her ear during the entire movie comforting works like nothing in the movie is real and nothing and no one will ever hurt her with me around.

I take my job as one of Ally's protectors very seriously, no one will ever hurt my angel while she's under my protection. If by some twist of fate Ally does get hurt then I will do anything I can to make that beautiful million watt smile come back on her face and her melodious laughter ring out like a bell. Whenever Ally is unhappy, then I feel my own stomach twisting uncomfortably, my heart breaks every time I see those big chocolate pools and that angelic face looking so sad. An unhappy Ally makes an unhappy Austin.

You can't blame a guy for trying to get another chance to have the woman of his dreams in his arms for more then a hug, I treasure each hug as well as every time a part of Ally's delicate skin touches mine cause every time we touch sparks fly and my tummy is filled with butterflies and a warm, gooey feeling like I have melted chocolate in my tummy.

If I get a chance to have any cuddle time with my sweet Ally, I will take it willingly and treasure every moment of it, the touch of Ally's skin against mine, her vanilla body scent ,her flowerly scent from her silk-like brown hair all around me and the feeling of her petite, fragile body in my arms.

Even though it was not required for the participants of the "Fright Fest" to wear costumes I wanted to make sure that Ally was as involved as she could be in something I love to do; I love horror movies especially when they are super scary that they give me nightmares, I just love the adrenline rush being scared brings me.

I know Ally said that she found horror movies boring but I wanted to put as much effort as I could to make sure Ally at least had some fun at the movies. I knew she tried her hardest to make sure I had some fun cloudwatching, she would ask me every so often what shape or animal I could see in the clouds and tried to bring me into her fellow cloudwatchers and her's conversations.

I wanted to do the same thing so with my mom's help, she was more then happy to help me stitch a fast but accurate "Swamp Bride" costume for Ally. I think that my mom has seen through my act of "oh she's just a friend" like when I talk about Ally non stop and knows I love Ally as more then a friend.

It seems like mom have a sixth sent when it comes to their children being in love cause as she was sewing, she was giving me a knowing glance especially. I already had my costume, I was suppose to go to the fest with Dez, I hope he understands that I'm trying to put an effort to get to know as much as I can about the woman I'm falling for and isn't mad at me.

I think Mom did an amazing job on Ally's costume, Ally looked amazing in her costume, like a blushing and beautiful bride even with the dress ripped in tatters, a wreath of dead flowers on her head as a veil and some dirt on her beautiful proclein skin, not even with dirt on her face and wearing a tatttered dress did Ally not look beautiful. How does Ally wear something that is suppose to make her less beautiful and still look gorgeous in it?

I enjoyed the movie but not as much as usual cause I was always looking at Ally, though I have to admit that I look at Ally more then I should during the day but who wouldn't look at a beautiful young lady as much as they can if they were able to?. I wanted to make sure that Ally was enjoying herself and changed her opinion of horror movies even so slightly.

I saw Ally asleep a couple of times, how can anyone fall asleep with all the screams of the audience and the movie which was loud?. But with a nudge she would wake up and try her hardest to keep awake to watch the movie. I hope she's enjoying the movie cause Zaliens 4 is a really good, exciting and edge of your seat kind of movie.

Intermission was interesting; it turns out that Dez and Trish have things in common with the other. Who knew? They were even dressed as the same character but they seemed to be having fun discussing their favourite parts of the movie so I left them alone.

Besides I had Ally beside me so I needed to pay attention to her cause I was at the movies with her, not on a date or anything though I wish I was. It was now time for Ally's picked activity, I hope it is funnier then cloudwatching and let me learn something new about her. I thought she was adorable with her "Now it's time for a ride on the fun train. Whoot! Whoot!" but then again anything Ally does or says is adorable, even when she's rambling on.

On the positive side I got to spend some alone time with Ally without the pressure of having to write a song in the limited time we had until the next podcast, not that I mind writing songs with Ally, I love it so much cause together we always come up with a wonderful song and plus it means more alone time with Ally which I'm always looking for.

The negitive side is Ally took me to the mall pond, um I love you honey but you kind of took me to a lame place. I mean the trees aren't even real, the pond is kind of dirty cause people keep throwing their garbage in the pond and not many people actually sit here eating lunch or talking with friends.

I did met an unoffical member of Team Austin, a goose named Pickles. Only my Ally would think of naming an animal after her favourite food. Aww how adorable that growing up this little feathered guy had been my sweetie's inspiration and muse for her music though it's kind of sad that an animal was more of an inspiration to Ally then her own dad.

I never thought I would see the day when my very own little angel actually breaks the rules, it gave me a thrill cause it might mean Ally was learning how to be less strict about her routines and rules and is losen up a bit more from my love, support and guidence over these past few months that we have known each other.

Ally actually put a live goose under her dress, being the caring and loving sweetheart she is, to goosenapped Pickles cause the pond was being paved over the next day to build a parking lot which would mean Pickles would not only lose his home but probably his life. I don't know what we were going to put him cause Ally couldn't keep Pickles in her home so he would have to go to the zoo which isn't the life for any animal.

Ally and I went back to the theatre to ditch the security guard who was chasing us and I kind of wanted to enjoy the ending of the movie. Pickles wasn't exactly the quietiest animal, he kept honking really loudly and even when Ally put him down to eat the popcorn off the floor, Pickles was a naughty goose. He honked in people's ear, pecked at people's butts through the seats and run across the aisles.

He actually attacked Walter the Usher enough to get Walter to scream though I don't blame him. Iwould scream too if a goose was attacking me. Sweetheart, you look more adorable without that so serious face. What can I say or do to make an angel like you smile?

I gave her some advice about not taking everything so serious and looking at things my "life is fun" way which got my sweetie's beautiful smile and melodious laughter to ring out in the nearly empty theatre. Yeah I made Ally smile and laugh, score. Point for Mr Swamp Guy aka me on the "Convince the Girl of My Dreams I can be a Sweet, Seensitive, Caring, Fun and Romantic Guy so She'll Fall in Love With Me" role.

Just when I didn't think Ally could get any more adorable, she does something extra adorable that makes my heart smile. I mean Ally was knitting webbed footie pjs for a goose who was going to an aminal conservatory, how adorable is she? Pickles is super lucky to have someone as sweet and caring as Ally to take such good care of him.

Aww I love it when Ally and I have moments where we stare deeply into each other's eyes, touch the other person's shoulders or hands and without words , our hearts connect to the point where it's like I can see inside Ally's heart and she can see into mine to find our deepest secrets and wishes out there in the open.

I treasure each moment that Ally and I have together, alone or with Trish and Dez, it is stored in my "Ally Memory" folder to be pulled out when I miss her, ok pretty much when I'm away from her. I also love to gush about how much Ally means to me, how much she inspires me to reach for my dreams and never let the haters try to bring me down and how I wouldn't be the person or artist I am today without her support, guidence and friendship.

My gushing has nothing on my Ally telling me that she "doesn't need Pickles anymore. I have a new goose. His name is Austin." Ok it took Ally some explaining to figure out that I was Ally's "goose" and inspiration, aww sweetie that really touches my heart that I'm the inspiration to someone as one of a kind, talented, sweet, down to earth and beautiful as Ally. Her words make me want to try a little harder in life and my career so I can continue to be Ally's inspiration for her music and the man she will fall in love with in the end.

The next podcast went a lot better then the first one; Ally outdeemed herself once again by writing a wonderful song about even though Ally and I are different in our personalities and our interests, we are the perfect match as best friends and hopefully one day a romantic couple. Of course I tried my hardest to get Ally to be shown on camera so that all the audience could see the mastermind behind the songs that they can't get enough of.

But of course Ally didn't make it easy for me or Dez, she kept ducking out of the shoot whenever Dez turned the camera in her direction. Sweetheart, I know you have immense stage fright but could you just let the camera capture your beautiful image for one minute and give the audience a teeny wave? For me, it would be a great moment.

Though that doesn't mean that I won't stop trying to help you overcome your fright and get you comfortable in performing in front of people. People need to see the lovely and talented young lady that I have the privilage to know as a best friend and partner in music performing the wondersful songs that will one day be known to everyone in the world.

I guess my "fun" lessons worked a little more then I thought cause Ally decided that she wanted to waste the final couple of hours of working at "Sonic Boom" coloring with yours truly. Yeah, now she will realize that coloring is another way to have fun and be relaxed at the same time.

I was glad that Trish and Dez had found things in common, now their bickering can stop, but I know in my heart of hearts that it would never last too long. Who stops a friendship over the difference of pizza toppings? I'll answer that, Dez and Trish. Oh well. I guess, unlike Ally and me, some differences are too strong for two people to be friends.

Things got better then Ally told me that I would be so proud of her. sweetheart I'm always proud of you as long you are being your true, adorable self, she colored outside the lines. Ohh my little daredevil :). It turns out that Ally had coloured her clown picture perfectly in the lines and had put one tiny blue line on the clown's left leg.

Oh Ally, sweetheart, that is not exactly what I meant by coloring outside the lines so I will show you how to color outside the lines. I did this by lightly and gently taking her hand and guiding her hand to scrible all over her pretty picture. Ally tried to fight me from "ruining" her picture but I won't stop until our masterpiece is done.

I ended up breaking her blue crayon, I guess I was holding onto it too hard, but Ally said it in a joking, mock angry tone so I don't think she minded. Still holding onto the crayon, we both signed Ally's name, hey everyone needs to know who made this pretty picture plus I was kind of hoping I can take this picture home as a mementos of the amazing day I had with the woman of my dreams.

Then still holding the crayon, Ally turned around to put it back in the carton and I guess I was standing too close for comfort then two best friends should be as our bodies were close to eahc other, an inch away from each other. I've gotten so used to feeling the sparks and the warmth radiating from Ally's body whenever some part of our bodies touch that I never noticed how close we were standing.,

I know I mentioned before that staring into Ally's eyes was one of my fave hobbies so I was throughly enjoying seeing Ally's chocolate pools going from startled, unsure, acceptance and then the look of love, I hope. We stood there for a few minutes just staring into each other's eyes, still holding hands and time stood still. I felt the urge to lean forward and kiss those soft, plump lips that were calling my name.

As I slowly leaned down I kept my gaze on Ally to make sure it is ok for me to finally kiss her. I saw her eyes open wide in nervousness, ok so maybe this wasn't such a good idea cause I would never do anything to upset my Ally-gator if I can help it. So in a last ditch attempt to make things ok between Ally and me I changed my direction and part of the body to which I would kiss aka instead of a kiss on the lips it was an eskimo kiss.

After the eskimo kiss, I let go of Ally's hand only to gently put my hands on her waist so she wouldn't move cause I was about to open my heart to her once again and say something sweet and sensitive. I said that I really appreciated the fact that Ally felt so comfortable around me that she shared a little piece of the world that she only lets the people she really trusts know about.

I told her that anything she wanted to know about me even if it's super duper private and maybe a smidge embarassing I will gladly spill my soul to her. I knew that I can fully trust that she will accept me for who I am, the dorky, slightly immature but sweet, sensitive and caring guy, and not tell anyone what I told her.

I guess what I told Ally made her heart happy, just like what happens when I'm near her, cause her eyes totally melted like dark chocolate in the spring sun and her beautiful smile came back on her face. She said that I was so sweet and she knew that she could tell me anything and that I would do the same for her but it's always nice to hear it.

Once again Ally and I stared in each other's eyes until Ally broke the silence by asking if we are having a staring contest cause her eyes were getting tired and dry so she quits. Thanks honey for ruining the moment. I let go of Ally, regretfully, then scooped up the picture exclaiming that since I had made Ally's picture even more pretty I should be the one who will keep the picture but that she can have the picture Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays and if she was a good girl I might even let her keep our picture over the weekends.

My teasing got me an elbow in the tummy from Ally as well as a playful roll of her eyes but I just teasingly held the picture high enough that Ally couldn't reach it and told her if she wanted then come get it. Instead of jumping up looking like a complete goofball trying to get the paper, Ally went straight for one of my weaknesses.

That woman tickled me. How on earth did she know that I'm incredibly ticklish in the sides? We have never had a tickle fight so I have no idea how to counteract Ally's tickle attack besides the usual trying to squirm away and begging Ally to stop tickling me in between gasps of breaths and uncontrollable laughter

Darn it, Ally got the picture from me and with chants of "Ha ha I got the picture. Catch me if you can!!!" she ran away from me. Oh no you don't Missy, there is no way you can tickle me, grab our picture and get away from me. Run run as fast as you can, I can catch you cause I'm your Swamp Man!. Here I come sweetie.

I'm glad that no one was in the store cause I'm sure Ally and I looked ridiculous running around the store, Ally dodging me behind instruments and the counter as I dogged her every move all awhile laughing our heads off. This was the perfect way to end a wonderful day; goofing around with the woman I love.

I finally caught Ally around her waist as she ran past the counter where I was hidding and I spun her around exclaiming that now that I have caught her, I will make her pay for tickling me and stealing "my" picture. Then holding her tightly around the waist with one arm the other hand did some travelling to find my Ally's ticklish spot which was her underarms and sides.

Ally is such a wiggling little worm when she's being held against her will, I had to lock my arm around her waist to keep her still enough that I could continue to tickle her. Ohh that little monkey decided that if she couldn't get away from me then she'll join in the fun so she started to tickle me back.

For a couple of minutes we playfully tussled until Ally got away from me. Not for long though, I was on her heels in a second, caught her around the waist, picked her up bridal style so she couldn't get away from me again and carried her back into the store. Ally struggled but I just tightened my grip on her. I didn't want to lose the warm, loving and sweet feelings I was getting with the woman I love in my arms.

Ally promised that if I let her down she would share her animal crackers that she hid in our practice room for late nights writing songs. Hey I've been in the practice room before with Ally for late nights and I have never found that stash. Where on Earth did she hide it?

I put her down and then followed her to the practice room where she told me to hide my eyes and she'll get the cookies, I peeked through my fingers and saw that Ally hide them behind the table in the corner where I never would have looked for them. Then it was snack time. I tried make Ally laugh by making the animals "talk" and "move", success. Soon Ally's melodious laughter rang out like a bell in the room.

I got a little sneaky, when Ally turned around cause she thought she heard someone coming up the stairs, I ate her elephant cookie straight out of her hand and even let my lips graze her hand for a long minute before Ally whirled around with "Did you just kind of kiss my fingers and ate a cookie from my hand?" look on her face.

I only smiled, took a cookie from the box and offered it to her, straight from my hand. When Ally went to take it from my hand, I pulled me hand back, shook my head and then held out my hand again. Ally reluctantly took the cookie from my hand, beautiful eyes glued on me. It's ok sweetie, I won't bite, I promise.

Once Ally had the cookie safely in her mouth, her proclein skin went bright red and her head ducked down. Aww sweetheart you don't need to be shy or embarassed, I was the one who started it plus I enjoyed the feel of my love's soft lips grazing my hand, i would have prefered it if those lips touched my own lips but beggers can't be choosers.

I reached over and gently turned Ally's face towards me and then words just escaped me as we sat there staring into each other's eyes and Ally's chin in my hand. Of course at that precise moment Trish and Dez came back with tacos and pop for everyone. They didn't even knock or announce their presence, they just walked in and collapsed onto the beanbag chairs talking about the characters they had meet while getting dinner.

Thanks guys for ruining Ally and mine's moment here. You guys couldn't have waited like 5 more minutes before rushing in here? Seriously, now Ally will be even more embarassed cause our best friends could have caught us in an intimate position which we couldn't explain without blushing like crazy and stuttering like idiots.

I did see Dez giving me a knowing look before he joined in on Trish's story about the pointy headed man they saw eating pizza. I've never told anyone I love Ally as more then a friend but could Dez see into my heart to find out how much I love Ally? Hmm maybe my best friend is more intuitive then I thought. I have to be careful about how I act around Ally when it's the four of us cause I'm not ready for the world to know my feelings for Ally before I tell her.

That's all he wrote folks. So until tommarrow. Hopeless romantic rockstar out.

Daddy's Little Girl is in Love

This is the period of years I was dreading since the day Heaven decided to bestow me and my loving and beautiful Lizzie with an angel to care for, treasure every inch of her from her tiny little toes that beg you to kiss each one to the top of her silky brown haired head and love her for the beautiful, caring, loving, sweet young woman who wants to use her talents and gifts to help others that we knew this little sweetie would grow up to be.

The other moms and dads to be were right; one look into your child's eyes and you fall instantly in love with your child even though to be perfectly honest all parents fall in love with their child from the first ultersound picture where you see the peanut shape of your growing child to the first kick that is hard enough for outsiders to feel. The love just grows stronger when you actually see the little man and lady that you and the woman you love created in person.

When Lizzie told me she was pregnant with our daughter, i was over the moon. I had always dreamed about finding my soulmate and starting a family and since I had found my Lizzie, I was thrilled my next dream was coming true. I didn't care what gender our child would be; if the baby was a boy Lizzie would get a mommy's boy and me a little playmate though either way I would hope that me and my child would have something in common so we can enjoy spending time together.

I was thrilled when I found out I was having a girl. It meant that I would have a Daddy's girl, someone who will have my heart, someone I will do everything I could to make sure they are happy, content in life, all their dreams come true and feel as loved as any human being ever could. Just like with her mommy who i loved with all my heart and soul.

I was there for all the kicks, doctors appointments, ultrasounds and midnight cravings. The moment baby Allyson appeared into the world like a gift from heaven crying her lungs out about being forced into the cold, unfamilar world from the warm, cuddly paradise that she has gotten used to for the last 9 months I forgot about the last 14 hours of labour and the immense pain that Lizzie went through giving birth to our daughter.

Ally was the most gorgeous person in my life, besides her mommy of course, and the most beautiful baby I had ever seen, though I have to admit I'm a bit biased. Even though she was govered in goop, I could already tell that she was going to be a beautiful child with her head full of dark brown hair and murky blue eyes that I hoped would turn to her momy's beautiful dark chocolate eyes.

Being like the usual new daddy, I followed the nurses around the room as they cared for my little sweetheart, getting her cleaned up and wrapped into a nice cozy blanket with a hat to keep her warm before she got to have some snuggle time with her mommy and me. I felt connected to Ally like a tractor beam plus I had to make sure my little honey was being well taken care of.

When Lizzie finally had Ally in her arms and we were both staring deeply into her beautiful murky blue eyes, counting each one of her little fingers and toes to make sure they were all there and touching every inch of silky baby soft skin we could without unwrapping the blanket. The whole world disappeared as we soaked in as much family time as we could before the nurses whisked Ally away to the nursey.

The next 4 years went by like I was living a dream. It seemed like all of my dreams came true; I was married to the woman of my dreams, had a job as a server at Montana's,had a nice, comfortable home that was always filled with family and close friends , memories, love and joy, and I had a beautiful and healthy daughter. What more could I ask for?

During that time I had the privilage of watching my beautiful baby girl grow up and experience the world and all its happy and depressing moments. I have to admit that I become one of those dads who walked an inch behind their daughters fearfully of every scrap, bruise, bump and anything or anyone that could hurt my little sweetie.

When Ally's big doe eyes well up with tears and run down those proclein cheeks, her rosebud lips quiver with pent up sadness that threatens to spill out and she casts those sad eyes at me pleading for me to do something to make her sadness go away I would pretty much do anything to bring back that smile that melts my heart and makes it feel like it is flying.

When Ally was born, I half joked but was half serious that when Ally grew to a teenager, I would lock her in a room and never let her date until she turns 24 cause, like her mommy, she would be drop dead gorgeous and I would have to do a thourgh investigation of any boys who were man enough to come up to me to ask me if they can date my daughter before letting Ally date any guy who I feel have the same values and beliefs that I raised Ally with.

Ally's young life made a traumatic turn when she was 4 , her mom was killed on her job as a Crime Scene Investigator when a suspect came back to the crime scene to clean up the mess from his crime and caught my sweetheart picking up evidence to catch him. Even though my heart was breaking as the realization that the love of my life is forever gone, I had to be strong for my young child who was grieving at her beloved mommy dying.

Then if life couldn't get any worse, I lost my job at the restaurant cause of the amount of time I had to say no to extending my hours after an 10 hour shift and for coming in to cover someone else's shift the morning I'm suppose to be there.

Luckily dad retired the next month so I took over the family business, Sonic Boom even though I had no idea, beyond the basics, about musical instruments. It is a job and I guess it really helped strengthen my little girl's love of music which is a good thing cause i have always taught Ally to strive to reach her dreams and never give up on the things that matter the most to her.

When Ally went to Kindergarden, her love of music skyrocked. She enjoyed listening and singing along to her Disney classics and Princesses' songs, she could listen to the same CDs over and over again and never get bored of it. But when she was in school, she started writing songs herself, they started off as little ditties which turned into cute little songs about random things like the Butterfly Song.

Even though I do think my little angel is really talented with writing songs from the heart about what she wants to express about herself to the world but is too scared to say it out loud. I didn't want my girl to waste all her effots, hopes and dreams in an one a billizon chance of making it in a business that seems to not honor true talent but focuses on beauty, thinness and making people change themselves to the industries' wims.

So yes I admit that I discourage Ally to make her music big and known to the world. I know that sounds super mean and not something a loving parent should do; parents should be encouraging their children to live their dreams and teach them that they can do anything they set their minds to, not discourage them from reaching their dreams.

But to be honest; I'm selfish, since Lizzie died, Ally become my everything, my life and the reason I got up in the morning and if I lost her to the music industry and their way of changing someone with values and belief to a diva who thinks the world owes them something, my world would crumble.

The other way my heart would break is when my Ally finds her soulmate, I mean I may be her dad but even I know that I raised a young lady who is beautiful inside and out, caring, sweet, dedicated to the people most important to her like family and friends, down to earth, talented, adorabley dorky in a way that is guaranteed to make people smile and is overall a complete sweetheart that any guy would have to be crazy not to fall instantly with love with her.

Growing up Ally had the usual girlie crushes over guys who I felt weren't worth the time and attention of my sweetheart. But Ally takes after me, kind of uncomfortable in her own skin to where she doesn't show her whole true self to anyone except for those people closest to her and who she can fully trust like with Austin, Trish and Dez.

Both Ally and me are so shy to show our true selves to others in case they don't like the real us and emtionally turn away from us or bully us into changing to fit the people they feel we should be. When that happens, we retreat farther into ourselves and swear we will never put our hearts out there again for awhile. It had taken me years to realize that Lizzie had been flirting with me cause I had not been Mr Popular in high school and there was no way a girl would be interested in me.

When Ally had a crush on someone, she would become a wreck of rambling, nervous laughter and following the guy around like a little lost puppy. The guy would take advantage of my girl's affections making her do their homework, carry their books and do their assignments while promising dates that never come to be.

The worst thing is that the boys would end up pushing their girlfriends in Ally's face and embarass her in front of the school by saying that they would never date a loser and a nobody like her. And who would be there to comfort her for hours on end, rubbing her back and telling her that she is worth more then those boys think and one day she'll meet her Mr Right who will love every inch of her, me, Trish then Dez and Austin.

Most people think I'm an absentee father cause I always seem to be out on conventions both work related or personal. But I believe I am a good father who is observant to what is going on in the #1 person in his life and how she's feeling. So I'm not totally blind to the real life love story happening daily in front of me.

When I first met Austin, I thought he was going to be the typical rockstar, mean, crude, diva like, selfish and only cares about money and his physical appearence then writing a song that comes from the depth of his heart to inspire them to reach for their own dreams. I was kind of right about him after he "borrowed" one of my Ally's songs and made into a overnight internet sensation that got him on a talk show.

That was my dream for Ally; to be able to share her wonderful songs to more people then just me and have someone else appreciate her songs. I knew that will never happen unless she gets over her staggering, sometimes crippling stage fright so she needs someone besides Trish and me to help her get over that fright and encourage her to show her true self to the world cause I know they'll fall in love with her.

My opinon of Austin changed when he not only apologized to Ally but tried, with disasterious results, to get my sweetheart's face and name known the public as a talented songwriter on the "Helen Show". He seemed genuine in wanting to be my daughter's friend, partner in songwriting and help her get over her stage fright.

The saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" rang true with Austin, I soon discovered that I was totally wrong about Austin; he did have his conceited moments but he was also a huge dork, especially when he was around my girl and Dez, puts his family and friends first in his life, is ambitious, has the same life's dream as Ally and has a soft and sweet spot reserved for my Ally.

It seems like Ally is always coming home with a huge smile on her face that won't come off no matter what I say and do, it stays on permenantly for the rest of the night. Then when I ask her what is with the huge smile, I get Ally's usual adorable but long rambling but this time it is about what sweet, adorable and nice things Austin did that day complete with all the gushing, million dollar smile and lovestruck eyes that comes with being head over heels in love.

I know that since Ally was obviously in love I had to keep my eyes on Austin to make sure he is the right boy for my Ally and is treating her like she should be treated, like his equal and someone to love and protect with all his heart and soul. So I became like a secret agent, I pretend to be in my office doing tedious paperwork but really I'm hiding behind musical instruements seeing what moments I can see between my daughter and her possible suitor.

The moments I saw myself made even a grown man like me go "aww" and melt. Austin might be a rockstar but I soon learn that he is a rockstar who is a sweet and caring person who isn't afraid to tell with loads of emotion and truth how much his friends, mostly Ally, mean to him and how he values having them in his life.

I can't tell you how many times I have overheard Austin telling Ally how he wouldn't have a career or fans without her wonderful songs and how she is one of his closest and bestest friends with whom he can share anything and everything about himself, things he might not even tell his parents, with. I can see my girl's heart melt through those chocolate pools as her proclein skin showed spots of pure pink at Austin's touching words everytime they have that conversation.

No matter how much Ally protests about being in the spotlight and letting people see the woman behind the music , Austin insists on letting anyone who will listen who is responsbile for the songs he performs. He gives credit to Ally as much as he can say at the beginning of each concert and whenever he gets the chance.

His ideas of getting Ally comfortable with performing in front of people may be crazy and anyone can see will not work out as planned but the main thing is that he is trying to help my sweetheart any chance he gets. My girl's happiness is a main priority for Austin and that is what a dad likes to hear.

I was thrilled to find out that Austin is a man who is raised with the same values and morals as Ally. He did like touching my daughter's arms, shoulders, leg or just grab her petite form into a hug where his arms stay around her lower back for more minutes then people who are just best friends should hug whenever he can.

But Austin never and would never go past the point where Ally felt uncomfortable or felt pressured to do things that she has been told is not appropriate before marriage. Austin just felt a pull towards Ally, he needed to be near her, be surrounded by her attention and angelic brightness or he'd be sad and unenergetic.

I knew that Austin loves Ally just as much as she loves him, their faces brightens like a lightbulb suddenly went on in their hearts when they see the other person, when someone mentions them briefly or when they see or experience things that remind them of the other person.

An example of this is when I took Ally out for ice cream for some father-daughter time, her beautiful smile went wide and her almond eyes sparkled when the guy asked her if she wanted to make her single scoop of ice cream into a sundae. Ok not sure what a sundae has in common with Austin but I'm pretty sure that he is the reason Ally was so smiley.

My daughter and Austin's relationship, both as best friends and people who are secretly in love, reminds me of mine and my Lizzie's relationship before we were married. The longing glances into the other's eyes where the rest of the world disappears and then you both silently looking away, afraid that your love is being reflected into your eyes and the other person can see it, the instant of holding onto the other's hand, it is like a reflex when near the person.

Another reflex that Austin and Ally share is grabbing the other into a hug and sweet little endearments, the words "honey", "babydoll" and "sweetie" ,seem to slip out in conversations without the person's knowledge and when they realize what they said thier faces go bright red and eyes are adverted.

Watching Austin and Ally together being all adorable, and this is coming from a daddy who loves and adores his daughter and never wants her to transfer her love to anyone but him so that me liking Austin with my daughter is saying a lot, makes me smile, believe in young love and want to have a little chat with Austin.

Don't worry guys and girls, I may have a gruff, straight the point, "what are your intentions with my daughter?" and a "mess with my daughter or make her cry or hurt her in anyway and you'll deal with me" kind of attitude during the meeting but inside I will be happy that my daughter might have found the love that me and her mom had in her own life.

I may not want my little girl to love someone other then me, I want to keep her as my little daddy's girl for as long as I can cause before Austin I felt that I was the only man who could ever love her the way she deserves to be love, unconditionally and with my whole heart and soul.

But I have this feeling that I can trust the most important person in my life to Austin. Now how to approach him and ask him to meet with me without Ally knowing what I'm doing or I'll have a daughter who is mad at me for making one of her best friends uncomfortable for no reason she can understand.

Love & Letters Chapter 4

A\N : Thank you for all the reviews and story alerts. I appreciate all the support I've been given.Sorry it took me so long to post this chapter, I was busy writing a romance story between Ross and Laura and have it posted by Valentine's Day. I hope the wait was worth it by this chapter being good. Sorry if Ally is OCC, I want her to drive Austin crazy and that means going out of her comfort zone. I still don't own anybody, darn it. Enjoy this chapter and please review.

"I don't think I can do this. I mean you have seen me when I have a major crush on a guy, I babble on and on about random stuff, chew on my hair and trip over my own feet and tongue. This not only embarasses me but also the guy cause everyone is looking at the freak who can't talk or walk straight. Those people wonder why I am bothering a guy who is obvious uncomfortable with being around me and who is out of my league.

When that happens, I feel like such a loser, you remember when Dallas rejected my advances cause he said I wasn't his type. I cried in your arms for hours on end and couldn't eat or sleep for two days enough to make not only you and dad worried but Dez and Austin. I don't think I could handle it if your plan of showing Austin how I have fallen for him fails and my friendship with Austin is ruined.

I know I couldn't stand if that happened, Austin and our friendship means everything to me and if it becomes too ackward for us to hang out and work together and Austin decides he can't be my friend anymore, my heart will literally break into a million pieces and never recover if that happened." Ally said as she paced around the room, arms waving as she talked aminately and a mile a minute about all the negitive things that could happen with Trish's plan and then finished off with her collapsing onto the couch exhausted about the effort it took in thinking about what could go wrong and wondering if it was even worth it.

"Ally for the love of God, Austin will never in any way shape or form reject you. Girl what in the heavens do I have to do and tell you to convince you that Austin is as crazy in love with you as you are with him? I have given you so many examples of you and Austin being adorable and totally oblivious, do i need to tell you more?

I mean any guy would be honored and lucky to have someone as special, sweet, caring, compelete dork but in a good way, wonderful friend and down to earth girl like you. I'm not just saying that cause you're my best friend it's not your fault that no other guy besides Austin has been able to see the real you.

Even if Austin, for some really stupid reason does reject you, which wouldn't happen in a million years, things wouldn't get ackward cause I know that your friendship with Austin means just as much to him as it does to you which is why Mr Romeo hasn't said anytihng yet but chooses to live in the shadows of adorable moments

Austin is always telling anyone who will listen that he wouldn't be anywhere without you, that he owes you everything for his fame and gives you shoutouts as his partner and best friend before every show. i bet his family has heard everything there is to know about you yet have never met you.

I keep telling you that my plan will make Austin do a double take, irony was intentional. His neck will keep getting cracks in them from the amount of times he will do a double take, his eyes may stay popped out from his sockets and his jaw will lock up from the amount of times his jaw drops.

I can't wait to see Austin start following you around like the lovesick puppy he is after you show him he isn't the only one who can subtle flirt with someone and make the other person blush like mad and get away with it." Trish said with glee complete with rubbing her hands together as she thought of her amazing and brillant plan of getting her two best friends together.

I mean there were all those months of obvious flirting and love sparks between Austin and Ally that both she and Dez had to deal with for months now and the late nights thinking of ways to get these two together without making it seem obvious of it being a matchmaking between them.

Here we go. Please God let this plan work and don't let me embarass myself in front of Austin. Ally thought as she took a deep breath to ready herself to go down to the storefront and flirt openly with Austin. I can't do this.... I have to do this or Austin will never know how much I love him. Please God let Austin be my secret admirer or I'll lose all the blood in my body to my face cause I will turn reder then a tomato if I'm wrong.

"Hey Ally. Dez and I weren't doing anything wrong. Nope" Austin said as he tried to hide the fact that Dez was headfirst in the tuba with an assortment of knocked down instruments around him. Austin had a sheepish look on his face as he waited for Ally's outbreak at how immature and reckless both he and Austin were being, like always.

Why did I never notice how adorable his puppy dog eyes and pout are when he knows he has been a bad boy? How could I ever stay mad at him when he's looking at me with those eyes? I mena it is impossible to stay mad at apuppy. i must have more self control then I thought if I can handle the puppy eyes and pout

"Austin, I'm not going to yell at you or Dez cause I know it probably won't work like the other 50 times I told you boys that Sonic Boom isn't your personal playground. I'm going to help you get Dez out of there like the good friend I am." Ally said with as much calm in her voice as she tried not to think about how long the clean-up would be if it required to put all these instruments back where they came from.

Ally walks over to the tuba, grabs Dez's legs and starts to pull. After a few moments of pulling by herself and not getting anywhere, she turns around to see Austin staring at her. "Austin, you make a handsome statue but I kind of need your strong muscles to help me with getting our best friend out of the tuba. So get your butt over here." Ally said with a smile at Austin whose mouth went even wider as did his eyes at her obvious flirting. OMG is Ally actually flirting with me?

After a few moments Austin came over to Ally and just stood there, not sure if he just wraps his arms around her waist or wait for her to put his arms where she won't feel pressured or surrounded. With a loving roll of her eyes, Ally puts Austin's arms around her waist then with a smile at his slight unsure look turned back to Dez.

Am I dreaming? Cause the Ally I know and love would never ever be this flirty with me. She is more of a subtle I'm-Not- Flirting kind of person. What has gotten into her? Oh who am I kidding? I like this new side of Ms Ally. With a silent 1-2-3 Ally and Austin pulled as hard as they could. It took a couple of tries but Dez flew out of the tuba, knocking both Austin and Ally backwards over the counter and in an uncomfortable situation.

Please tell me I brushed my teeth cause this is a lifetime event; Austin Moon nose to nose with Ally Dawson, breathing in her strawberry scent that wafts off her like a wave of heavenly scent to my nose and heart. I never realized what a deep beautiful chocolate brown Ally's eyes were and they stare deep into my soul. Oh that is a good lyric for my love song for Ally.

"Well hello there. How lucky am I that I got caught by someone so strong, has beautiful eyes and has such minty breath? I don't know about you but I think someone deserves a kiss as a thank you." Ally said with a secret smile as she rises up from being squished onto Austin and sat on her knees beside Austin as he slowly sat up, unsure if he was dreaming that he had the woman of his dreams in his arms even for a second.

"Thanks Austin for your help and for catching me. Now since Dez is out, you gentlemen can help me clean up the intruments." Ally said with a slight batt of her eyes while secretly praying that Dez and Austin would help her clean up cause if not then it will take her a long time to pick all the instruments up and put them away.

"Um sure we will help. Won't we Dez?" Austin said still a little unsure about this new side of Ally, he didn't want to find that having the woman of his dreams actually flirting with him was only a dream, as he looked over at his best friend to see if he was on board on helping Ally clean up their mess.

Since there was 3 people cleaning up, it didn't take long for Austin, Ally and Dez to put away all of the instruments. Ms Ally's flirting didn't decrease, she always seemed to "bump" into Austin, whether it be his arm or side then she would smile coyly at him before moving on to the next fallen intrument.

Ally hugged both boys, although with Austin, she wrapped her arms around his neck and he put his arms tightly around her waist. Austin and Ally stayed like that for a few minutes, just holding onto each other memorizing every scent and feeling of being able to hold onto the person most important to them.

Dez had to hold himself back from joining in the hug, no matter how much he wished to join in, he didn't want to ruin this special moment between two of his best friends and plus he knew that Trish would kill him if he dared disturb Austin and Ally when they were having a moment.

I can feel myself melting like a ice cream on a hot summer's day. Did Austin always smell like Irish Spring soap and feel so cuddly, warm and soft?. Man it is like I'm hugging a big teddy bear with the biggest heart and sweetest nature I could ever ask for. in a gu. Don't lose focus Ally, remember why you are doing this; you want to show Austin that you're in love with him and deserve a chance to win his heart.

Ally slowly pulled away from Austin, not wanting the wonderful moment to end, stared deeply into Austin's eyes, trying to read his thoughts about her obvious and not really good flirting cause if he was embarassed that his best friend was flirting with him, she might die with embarassment right on the spot.

There's the Ally I know and love; the insecure yet totally lovable and adorable young lady. Wow I never noticed what a beautiful deep chocolatey brown her eyes are , I can see right through her to her soul. I think she knows my deepest secret and is hopefully trying to show me that she loves me too as more then friend. Please please please

Please let that be the reason for Ally's flirting with me and not that she is trying out her flirting techniques to win another guy's heart cause if so that would break my heart into splinters and that will make Austin sad.
After a few moments of just staring in each other's eyes and the world disappearing, Ally was the first one to break the staring contest by smiling one of her million dollar smiles.

"I could stay here staring into your chocolate pools forever but we need to work on a song for your next podcast. So we need to go but first" Ally gave Austin a kiss on the check, even holding his face still cause Austin was trying to move his head so that her kiss would land on the proper place, his lips. After the soft, gentle kiss, Ally took his hand and lead him upstairs.

Wow Dez was right, i do follow Ally around like a puppy, get all excited when Ally walks in the room and is always looking for ways to impress Ally and am anxious to be the one who stands beside her at all times. Oh well, I'm a guy in love so it doesn't matter how pathetic and desperate I look.

While Ally pulled out her songbook out of its hiding place, in the piano bench, Austin sat down on the piano bench eager to spend some alone time with his best friend like every single day, he was literally bouncing on the bench waiting for Ally to take her usual spot beside him.

When Ally came to sit down, book in hand, she sat so close to him, she was practically sitting in his lap (an ackward position for a teenage guy). He could feel her warmth coming from her strawberry infused lithe body and her floral scented hair. Both scents were now permenated into Austin's nostrils to be called on when he was missing Ally, which would be everynight as he cuddled Dougie the dolphin close.

I wonder if Ally woke up this morning and decided to drive me crazy anyway she can. Then again Ally can drive me crazy with a single glance or innocent touch, one look or touch can make my heart race, the world blurs until it is just Ally and me and I can hear music in my head.Tommarrow is the day where I up my flirting cause today the flirting goes to Ally.

"I gotta go. I'm suppose to help my dad with dinner. Before I go I have been writing a new song that I would really love it if you listenned to it tonight and give me your honest opinion on it. Pretty please, it would mean so much to me." Ally said with a slight batt of her eyes as she handed Austin her pink IPod. Then with a wink and a tiny wave, Ally left a speechless, open mouthed Austin behind.

Valentine's Day for the Lynches

First of all, this is my 1st Raura story so please be nice. I know it's long but I had so many ideas that were just begging to be typed so I had to include them in the story. I hope everyone likes it as much as I do. This is my Valentine's Day gift to all Raura fans. Sorry if it's too mushy, love-dovey and gooey, those are the stories I'm good at writing.

I don't own Laura, Ross or anyone else mentioned in my story so please don't sue.

Dear Journal

February, 14, 2019

I'm actually excited for this Valentine's Day, then again ever since Laura and I gathered up all our courage and spunk to confess our growing love for each other I have looked forward to Valentine's Day. I know that if you really love someone you should spent everyday showing and telling them how much you love them instead of just one day per year.

What can I say; I'm an affectionate kind of guy who likes showing the people who I love and are important to me how much they mean to me, whether it is doing something I have no interest in doing but do it cause I know that the events means something to the person so I go along with it to make the person happy or give them a shoulder to cry on when they are unhappy.

Mom and Dad have taught me, Riker, Rockey and Ryland that just because we are male, it doesn't mean that we have to be afraid to show emotion of any kind to the people in our lives. If we show sensitivity or show that we have a romantic bone to the special people in our lives, it doesn't make us a sissy or a freak. Real men are able to show every emotion we have and not be afraid to let their friends know that they love their families and the woman in their life, like girlfriends or wives.

Thank God my siblings and me grew up with seeing our parents showing their love for each other at every chance they got. I can't count how many times I have seen my parents act like teenagers in love with hand holding, sneaking kisses when they think no one is looking, calling each other endearments like "sweetie", "handsome" "beautiful" etc.

I have to admit that when I was younger, i did gag and cover my eyes, like an other little guy, whenever I saw my parents expressing their love. But now I'm glad that I was given the example of how to treat your wife with respect, love, support and dedication so that I could be the husband that Laura deserves.

Before Laura and I started to date, Valentine's Day was just another day where I could see couples everywhere I turned being all lovey dovey, sometimes over the top. Since I had no special woman in my life at that time, I felt like the black sheep wherever I went, even at my own house, being around all these couples.

When I did have a girlfriend, I would try to be the romantic boyfriend with sending flowers and taking them out to a romantic restaurant but I would get the feeling that my efforts were not being appreciated. I mean I got the feeling that the girls saw the date as a way to brag to their friends about their boyfriend and how much better her boyfriend is compared to her friends.

I wanted a girlfriend who was just as openly affectionate with me and who appreciated the small gestures, you know the ones where no money is required except for my time and attention. Some girls I thought were as down to earth, non materialistic as I was, just because I was known by the public as a famous actor and part of a popular band didn't mean I got better treatment, but sadly I was mistaken.

Thank God I had found the woman of my dreams in Laura, she encases everything I was looking for in a soulmate; sweet, caring, down to earth, has the same interests as me, treats me like an equal, is my best friend, someone I can have meaningful conversations about the most random things and still have topics to talk about when we saw each other next, someone I cna be myself around 100% of the time and someone who isn't afraid to show me how much she loves me.

I know the cliche of "love at first sight" applies to Laura and me, one look at Laura's beautiful face with those big chocolate eyes that I could gaze into for hours on end and still not know the true depth of her soul and her million watt smile that melts even the hardest of hearts and I was hooked.

I still remember the day I met Laura, it was one of the happiest moments of my life. I was goofing around with Calum, who I had just met but already knew I had found a best friend in, when one of the directors of "Austin & Ally" Shelley came in and introuduced Laura to us. My exact first words to Laura were "Ross I'm hi", i know so mature right but Laura thought I was trying to put her at ease at meeting the people she would be sharing the stage with for months at a time by making her laugh.

I wish, I could say that I redeemed myself after that moment but nope, there was more stuttering out words such as "Meet you nice to", tripping over my own feet as the other director Eric pulled Laura and me aside to talk about our first scene together, I literally fell flat on my face and from what Raini and Calum have said I "stared at Laura like I had never seen a young woman before and that if I looked away Laura would disappear".

Well excuse me but I wanted to take a mental picture in my mind of the young lady I had dreamed about meeting since I first discovered that girls didn't have cooties and I could go home and tell my family I had found the woman for me. Plus how could I even focus on anything trival, like lines, when I have an angel right in front of me?.

Not that I didn't love making people laugh, entertain the viewers and hang out with my best friends Raini and Calum cause I do. Raini, Calum and Laura became my best friends from the first day with their easy-going, down to earth, sweet attitudes, we became like a family along with the rest of the cast and crew.

I went to bed each night thinking of the fun times and warm, easy going conversations I would have with Raini and Calum the next day and of course, the new sweet "Auslly" moments that the writers would come up with for Laura and me to act out, in those situations I was never acting I was acting out some of my feelings towards my sweetheart on screen for everyone to see.

I thank the writers wrote such sweet, adorable, squeal worthy moments between "Austin" and "Ally" as a possible crushes on purpose, just friends my butt. I mean I might have played "Austin" but even I could see the chemistry between my character and Laura's, cause I quickly learned that Laura and I had chemstry that was obvious to everyone from the fans who lovingly shipped us together, both in real life and on screen to our cast and crew.

Every "Auslly" moment as well as Laura and mine's moments off screen when we were just hanging out at one of our homes or in our dressingrooms were locked into my memory. Laura quckly become a welcome part of my family so she was welcome at my house and me at her house anytime we both wanted. Thank you Mom and Dad. Looking back at my journal entries from way back and from my family and friends' loving teasing that Laura was my favourite topic to gush about to anyone who would listen to my lovesick talk, I can see that fact hasn't changed but grown stronger over the years.

I'm proud to say that Laura and I told each other of our love for the other and started to date before our characters did, maybe Shelley and Eric took the fact that Laura and me were dating to come up wth the storyline for "Austin" and "Ally" to get together. I know our Auslly fans were super duper happy that the characters they had fallen in love with from the 1st episode and knew had chemistry from the beggining were finally together.

I know that Laura and I were really excited to be able to show the affection that only our close friends and family have been able to see on the TV screen. I felt like we didn't have to hide our love, we could express it fully like we wanted on screen. Just like before Laura and I got together, I forgot the camera was capturing ever moment when I'm sure my face and body language expressed how much I truly love Laura as did her face and body language for her love for me.

Unfortunately not everyone was as thrilled about Laura and me getting together and being able to express our love openly so they expressed their disagreement with posting not so nice or mature comments on their blogs and public online sites about them being so "in love" with me that they thought that they would marry me.

Sorry girls but this man's heart has been taken by Ms Laura Marano since the day i met her and even if we meet there is a slight chance that I would have fallen in love with you anyway. I have meet some really nice people who have made an influence on me but I have met so many of fans that I hardly remember all their names let alone their faces.

Sorry ladies, I really do appreciate my fans, they are the reason why me and my siblings have been able to show our music to the public but i don't like to be pushed into loving someone I have no feelings for. Nothing people will say can change my love for Laura so sorry ladies but I'm taken and don't want that fact to change anytime soon.

I thought my life was amazing before Laura and I started to date, I mean had an amazing close-knitted family, a talented band filled with my loving, supportive brothers and sister, two of the bestest, closest friends and co-workers a guy could ask for in Raini and Calum, they were like an extension to my family just like Nessa and Mr & Mrs Marano.

I also had great supportive and loving fans that supported and followed my siblings and mine's career and as people and a job that I wake up and look forward to seeing the new adventures and challenges that await me when I get to the set of "Austin & Ally". What more could I ever want in my already perfect life?

Apparently God thought I needed a true love in my life so he gave me Laura and the next 7 years were some of the best days of my life. it was like my previous life of happiness, joy and wonderful memories with the most important people in my life got 5x brighter and better. I knew early into mine and Laura's relationship that what I felt for her was the true love that I knew I wanted in my life.

You know the whole "Can't eat, can't sleep because you are too busy thinking of the person you love and when you are with that person you have the feeling that you can reach for the stars and climb the highest mountain" feeling that people says you can only get with your true love. I had that tripled when I thought of or was with Laura so I knew that I needed to upt the ante and take mine and Laura's love to the next level.

I must have written out my proposal, all 3 pages back and front, about 10 times but hey a guy who'se madly in love with a wonderful, angelic young woman has a lot of feelings to spill out to her when he is asking her to spend the rest of her life with him. I couldn't even read through the entire proposal without tearing up, ok so I'm hoping and praying that when I actually propose to Laura, I don't bawl my eyes off and look like a doofus.

I proposed to Laura over a romantic dinner that I had prepared with some cooking advice and tips from my mom, hey at 23 I do know how to cook a good and nutrious dinner for myself but it is always good to be 100% sure of a dinner that is being made not only for the woman of my dreams but also for a special, one of a kind night where everything has to be perfect. After a scrumptious dinner, if I do say so myself, it was time for some romantic slow dancing to pre-recorded love songs, thank to Rydel.

I almost forgot the whole point to the night cause I was throughly enjoying the warm, cuddly and flowerly sceneted snuggles I was getting as Laura cuddled closer into the warmth and security of my arms. It is a good thing that I listened, sometimes to my annoyance, to all the love songs that Rydel and Mom listenned to growing up cause it really helped me sweep the woman I love off her feet.

I got reminded of what I still needed to do when Laura whispered "I don't know how this night could get any better; I mean I've the romantic, sweetest and kindest boyfriend ever with whom I'm dancing by candlelight to romantic music after a delicious meal prepared by said boyfriend. What more could a woman ask for?". Um well sweetheart I'm about to make this night even better.

I stepped away from Laura, still holding her hand, the other hand fished around in my pants' pockets for the ring box then of course I did the customary thing, going onbended knee to propose. I hope I remember what I have writtten down and practiced this entire month. Here I go, please God don't make me stumble over my words or get lost in Laura's beautiful eyes like alway and forget what i need to say.

"Laura, I never believed in true love or love at first sight until I met you. I swear that I fell head over heels in love with you when I first laid eyes at you at the first "Austin & Ally" table read and over the years those feelings have grown into more. Everything that happens around or to me reminds me of you,I could be having the worst day ever but all I have to do is think about you or see your beautiful face and once again I have a song in my heart and a smile on my face.

I have a new life goal; to make sure that you know that these past 7 years have been like a dream, a dream that I never want to wake up from and a dream that I want to share with you for the rest of our life so that yours and mine dreams, wishes and life goals combine into one. Cause you have made all my wishes and dreams come true.

The least I can do is do everything in my power to make sure you are as happy, feel as fulfilled and loved as you have made me feel. I love you from the bottom of my heart and soul, you are my soulmate, a big part of my heart and I can't imagine my life without you so would you please put this lovesick fool out of his misery and say you'll marry me?"

As I poured out my heart to my true love, Laura's eyes watered up and her hands went to her mouth. I guess I don't need to ask if Laura will accept my proposal by her reaction but a guy needs an actual answer to the most important question he will ever ask so please Laura put this poor lovesick fool out of his misery and just utter "yes", then we can start the hugging and kissing which is always a good thing.

I got two reactions; one clear "yes" and a nod of her head before Laura launched herself into my arms and my face was rained on by kisses. Of course our families and friends were estatic for us, our moms practically burst our eardrums at their squeals of delight that their babies were getting married.

I couldn't wait to be married to Laura, to spend the rest of our life together and to come home everynight to her beautiful face and snuggle all night with her. In short, I couldn't wait for Laura and me to become Mr and Mrs Lynch. I tried to be as involved as I could in the wedding planning, I might not have been planning my wedding day since I was little but I like to believe I had good ideas of a "prefect" wedding.

The year went by kind of fast, I mean I was busy with R5 which seemed to have a gig like every weekend and not to mention practices almost everynight. Paired with Laura's busy schedule of taping and practicing her lines on her incredible touching and heartwarming TV show "My Kid Brother". My sweetie plays Amanda who has to take care of her brother Adam who has an intellectual disability and of course has to deal with people who underestimate, bully and ignore as well as the struggles of paying the bills and having a social life, and the year went by faster then I thought it would.

I won't bore you with the details of the wedding, though all i can say is that the day I married Laura and made her officially Mrs Laura Lynch was one of the happiest days of my life. It was defiently up there with meeting Laura and our first date, no matter how nervous I was and how much I wanted to throw up cause of the nerves I was feeling about how this night had to go perfect.

I always knew that Laura was a goddess, mind you my goddess, but she took my breath away as she glided down the aisle towards me in a white gown that made her look like a Queen, once again my Queen, on the arm of her dad. Laura and I only had eyes for each other the entire ceremony and I'm so glad that I tucked kleenexes into my sleeve cuffs or the guests would have seen both the bride and groom crying like babies but I tried to keep my calm and wipe my love's tears as we recited our very personal, written from the heart vows.

The priest didn't have to tell me twice, when he said "You may kiss the bride", Laura and I smiled at each other then gave each other a kiss that like the other times we have kissed sent sparks flowing through our veins, butterflies fluttering in our stomachs and fireworks exploding around us. Laura and I had perma grins on our faces for the rest of the night as we anticipated how the rest of our lives would be like after that night.

I'm pleased to say that this past year has been the happiest of my life and I hope of Laura's life, even more then when we were dating. I wake up each morning trying to figure out new and simple ways to show Laura how much I love and appreciate her, whether it be make her dinner on the nights that she is late coming home from the studio, rub her feet after a stressful day or sending her a bouquet of yellow roses to the studio to put that beautiful smile on her face.

Since this is Laura and mine's 1st Valentine's day together, I wanted to make this day special for her, though as I said before I try to make each day special for Laura. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way, Laura had an early wake up call at the studio so she had to get up before me and make her own breakfast.

I had planned for me to make Laura apple cinnimon pancakes with fresh strawberries on top with whip cream, a nice big glass of skim milk complete with a white rose which symbolizes true love and purity which pretty much sums up my wife to me. I was a little disappointed when my carefully 6-month plan didn't start off right but I had the rest of the day to go to redeem myself.

I ended up sending the white roses to the studio with a card that read: "To My Wife and Love. Happy Valentine's Day. Love the man who loves you unconditionally.". My mind kept wandering back to Laura, what else is new?, and my big surprise for her that hopefully she loves all through band practice.

Riker,Rockey and Ryland were teasing me mercilessly though lovingly about how since Laura and I got together how mushy, corny and hopeless romantic I have gotten, I know they don't really mean it cause they have loved Laura from the first meeting as a sister. Thank goodness Rydel is a hopeless romantic like me cause she is helping me set up the rest of my Valentine's gift to Laura and smacked all the boys for not having a romantic bone in their bodies. Thanks sis.

When I got home I found my beautiful wife reading "Frankenstein" on the couch in her pjs, I ushered her into our room to get dressed for the rest of her surprise. As Laura showered I called up my brothers to make sure they knew the plan, though we had come up with the plan 6 months ago and I have been "reminding" them of it ever since even if I got hit repeadly for the reminder.

Laura looked absolutely gorgeous, then again she always did even in sweatpants and a t-shirt with her hair piled on top of her head, in a ruby red dress that flowed like a river over her delicious curves and smelt so sweet, like a bunch of flowers so that all I wanted to do is bury my head into the curve of her neck and breathe in her scent.

Under the pretense of us going out to a restaurant, I "accidently" got lost and ended up at the park when I had set up a romantic picnic complete with candlelit lanterns on the tree branches and romantic music provided by my darling brothers, it didn't take much arm bending to get them to do it cause I always knew they had a romance bones in their bodies no matter how much they deny it.

Laura's reaction to my big surprise was exactly the one I was waiting for; open mouthed, hands over mouth and tears in her eyes before she threw herself into my arms and rained kisses all over my face as she thanked me. Hmm I should do more romantic notions to get lots of kisses from my sweetie.

I led Laura to the picnic blanket where a curry chicken with curry noddles with dinner rolls, hot from the oven, corn and a bottle of red wine chilled in ice were waiting for us. Dinner was delicious, Laura and I were feeding each other in between kisses, and of course the conversation flowed freely ranging from the happenings at the "My Kid Brother" set, the R5 band updates to what was happening in the world.

Then it was gift time. I got Laura a card and a heart shaped locket on a bracelet chain, Laura needs to know that she owns my heart to treasure and love for as long as we live cause I know I have her heart to do the same with. The thing is I spent an hour in the card store searching through their Valentine cards and none of them said what I feel in my heart for Laura. So I ended up writing my own card and it read: To My Wife

You are not just my wife, but my best friend,

my confident, my lover, my heart, my everything.

Meeting you was one of the best days of my life.

You have made my life complete with all the love and

affection that i could ever need and want in my life.

I thank God everyday that he blessed me with a wife like you.

I love you doesn't even amount to how I feel about you.

Happy Valentine's Day My Love

As Laura was reading my card, her eyes welled up and after she was done I once again accosted to a huge bear hug, she actually knocked me over with her exuberance but I don't care, all I care about is that my sentimental card and gift was appreciated by my love plus I love me some Laura hugs and kisses.

My gift from Laura was a really nice watch that is waterproof, scratchproof with an alarm, stop watch and much more and a romantic card. it read; To My Husband

I love you more then words can say.

I just want to thank you for being my shoulder to cry on,

a listening ear to my troubles, arms to hold me

when I need comfort.

Thank you for being someone I can laugh with,

a best friend to share wonderful memories with.

Thank you for being the man I love.

I couldn't ask for the perfect man to spend my life with.

Happy Valentine's Day My Love

After I thanked Laura for her beautiful, romantic card with lots of little smooches and one big smooch, it was dancing time under the moonlight with Riker, Rockey and Ryland playing soft romantic tunes, I will so have to owe them later on cause they are about to be surrounded by more gooeyiness.

I throughly enjoyed holding my sweetie snuggled into my arms while singing the love songs that I pre-ordered beforehand and therefore knew all the words, thank you Youtube, into her ear. Overall I think that this was the best 1st Valentine's Day I could ever have thought of.

Bye for now
